Medicare & Health

Explore Medicare, health and supplemental coverage options based on your situation.

Medicare is not one decision. It is several, made in a particular order, with deadlines attached — and the penalties for missing some of them follow you for the rest of your life. Most of the difficulty people run into is not choosing badly; it is not knowing which choice was in front of them.

The parts fit together in a fixed way. Part A and Part B are the government program. From there you either add a supplement and a separate drug plan, or you take a Medicare Advantage plan that bundles them. Each route trades cost against flexibility differently, and the right one depends on your doctors, your prescriptions, how much you travel, and what you can budget.

Under 65, the questions are different but the shape is the same: what does this actually cover, what does it cost me before it starts paying, and what happens if something goes badly wrong. I will walk through the options available to you and explain the trade-offs, so the decision is yours and you understand what you chose.
